Marc's to-do list with Jo
--------------------------------------------------------------
  • Kite-flying session
  • Sentosa
  • More pizzas
  • More waffles
And I can't remember the others.

Y'know, it's amazing how a simple anniversary/birthday/whatever celebration can mean a lot to somebody else. Each anni, I rack my brains, trying to think of what to do, where to go, what to buy/make. But if going to Sentosa and having fun and strolling down the beach during sunset is enough to make her happy, then it sure beats trying to think of something to do/somewhere to go and end up doing nothing much.

A stroll down the beach seems so cliche but sometimes it's not what you do with your loved ones. Rather, it's more of enjoying your time with them and treasuring those precious, yet simple, moments. You don't need to spend big bucks on cable-cars dinner or Singapore Flyer dinner. Bring a volleyball, some snacks, some sandwiches, your body and most importantly, your heart. That's more than enough for Baby J, right Darling? With that being said, on our 14th month, Sentosa's the place we're gonna go. Strolling down the beach, taking pictures, playing with water are the things we're gonna do. Quality time spent. Gotta love it.

First things first...

POP LO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally. 3 months has passed just like that. Time really flies eh. The 16km route march was a killer though. I literally cried while walking. My abrasions were hurting like fuck and my feet was damn sore. But I still managed to complete it somehow :D

The parade was yesterday. Mom, Dad and Girlf J came over to watch it. Super early, but I really appreciated it. POP is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. All the sweat, tears and pain I've been through makes the parade a really worthwhile and memorable one. It really feels good. Everything that I've been through these 3 months with my buddies, it's surreal. Field camp, route marches, etc etc...

Of course, there's still a long way to go before I ORD. And things won't be any easier from now onwards. But life still goes on yeah.

I'll be staying in 2SIR as I've been posted (most probably) to Mortar. Good thing I didn't get Scouts. I would prolly give up if I got posted there. And my new Encik will be a Commando. G_G

Away from NS stuffs... Bi and I went out for pool session yesterday. Before that, we wanted to eat Delifrance so we went to Compass Point after Raj told me that Hougang Mall's Delifrance is no longer there. But I still think it's there -.-

And oh. I've been eating A LOT recently. After I came back from Field Camp, I've been eating non-stop. Lunch and dinner add rice. Go back to bunk, munch on cookies, chips, snacks, etc etc. Yesterday after eating the Delifrance sandwich, I bought chocolate waffle to eat. And after pool, I bought Curry O' to eat. Damn. Gotta stop eating so much. My craving for chocolate keeps getting stronger. Weird.

I digress. Pool with Bi last night and Darryl, Cymon, Cuiwen and Kailin came over to look for us. We played for about an hour half and stopped. Went over to PS and watched Darryl have his fun in the arcade, catching bears and throwing balls. Bi and I decided to leave around 11 and we trained back to Hougang. Walked over to Raj's house to pass him something before heading to 401's coffee-shop to tapau for Tracy Sis.

Speaking bout her... She's gonna sell Martell! :(((((((((((( Prolly due to a lack of time to look after him. If only I'm not in NS... I could help her look after him then x.x Oh well...

Bi's at my place now and she's going for a wedding dinner later. Mom's cooking and I'm gonna enjoy home-cooked food while J enjoys Sharks' Fin and stuffs. It doesn't matter, I'll still choose home-cooked food over wedding banquets anytime. Hah.

Ciao!

First things first...

Happy birthday Mom! May you stay healthy and beautiful :D Love you much.

And then...

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Field Camp next week omgwtfbbqchickenverynicetoeatzxzx.

I'm so not looking forward to it. 5 days of life in the jungle @Tekong. Wtf manzxz. No bath, no toilet, no bed, no handphone, no everything urban about life. Fuuuuuuucccckkkkkkk. Plus turn-outs and shell-scraping and all kinds of weird insects there. I think I'm gonna die ): I should stop thinking about it.

Booked out on Thursday evening due to Hari Raya. Lucky batch, my batch. So many early book-outs and stuffs. Bi's coming back later today and I'm going to fetch her from the airport. Going back to her place first before coming over to mine. Wonder how she looks like now and what she got for me. Hmmm...

Oh and I'm dying to watch New Moon. Maybe later after Bi's back? Super tight on cash though. Shall see how.

Rebel/Zirca was fucking boring last night. Rebel was sofa-king crowded as usual and Zirca's music was such a turn off. Could hardly shuffle to the music. I ended the night drunk. Too long never drink copious amount of alcohol already. King Roberts, tequila shots and Barons. I was stumbling my way from Rebel to BK Eating House. Thanks Shawn and friends for helping me.

All in all, a boring night to club.

Some dark troubles for me and Bi lately but I guess it's almost over. God bless us.

Have fun on your trip Bi. Enjoy yourself and remember my things!

I'm back from camp and using the re-fixed/formatted (again) computer. Will be going out with Bi soon, who's beside me playing Dota now just to spite me D:
Thanks everybody for the birthday wishes but it was a really crappy birthday. Worst ever. I didn't tell anybody except Muhammad that it's my birthday because I'm very close to him and he wouldn't do anything to me. If I had let the others know, I would have gotten a water parade, just like Terrence. Anyway...
We had 6 stand-by areas in the morning until the afternoon. 6 like wtf. Every single time, no matter how much and how hard we cleaned, they will always find fault and we have to clean it again and again and again. I got so frustrated and pissed off that I exploded and shouted at Muhammad. I didn't mean to but I couldn't take it anymore. Apologized to him later at night though. But that was a fucking horrible birthday I swear :(
I have IMT (Individual Marksmanship Training) on the whole of Monday. Some simulation shooting practice to prepare us for our Live Range next Sunday. I'll be booking out on Saturday afternoon and booking back in in the evening. Crap. Then from 30th November till 4th December, it'll be the days I dread the most - Field Camp. Kill me please.
We had our 3rd IPPT test today. I was aiming for a Gold but my 2.4 let me down again. The timing for 5 points/gold in 2.4 is 9.44 and I ran a 10.23+/- a few seconds. At the final straight stretch, my timing was 9.20 but I couldn't push myself anymore. Was fucking disappointed and demoralised after that. Next and final IPPT test on 25th of November. Come on Marc, Gold-Standard Lion please.
Martell is stepping all over my thighs now cos I brought him up while using the com. Off to bathe. Ciao.
